Love For All the Saints (1)

-- 是「有根有基」的愛

Love that is rooted and established

經文：弗 3:14-20, 林前 13:4-8a,13, 約壹 4:7,19-21

Scriptures: Eph 3:14-20, I Cor 13:4-8a, I John 4:7, 19-21

(一) 是從　神而來的愛（約壹4:7）

It’s a love that comes from God (I John 4:7)

-- “…使基督因你們的信住在你們心裡，叫你們的愛心有根有基，…”“That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love”（弗Eph 3:17）

-- “…聖靈將　神的愛澆灌在我們心裏”” love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit”（羅Rom 5:5）

-- 是最大恩賜The greatest gift（林前I Cor 13:1-3），是最大誡命the greatest commandment（可Mark 12:30-31），也是最美生命與見證and the most beautiful life and testimony（約John 13:35)

(二) 是有知識和見識，能分別是非的愛

It’s a love with knowledge and all discernment-to approve the things that are excellent

-- “我所禱告的就是要你們的愛心在知識和各樣見識上多而不多，使你們能分別是非…””And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent”（腓Phil 1:9-10）

-- “愛是…不作害羞的事，…不喜歡不義” “Does not behave rudely … does not rejoice in iniquity”（林前I Cor 13:5-6）

(三) 是有具體行動的愛

It’s a love that is tangible and with actions

-- “小子們哪，我們相愛不要只在言語和舌頭上，總要在行為和誠實上”” My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth”（約壹I John 3:18）

-- “不愛他所看見的弟兄，就不能愛沒有看見的　神，愛　神的也當愛弟兄…””For he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? … he who loves God must love his brother also.”（約壹I John 4:20-21a）

(四) 是經得起考驗的愛

It’s a love that can be tested

-- “愛是永不止息”” Love never fails”（林前I Cor 13:8）

(五) 是具有永恆價值的愛

It’s a love with an eternal value

-- “如今常存的有信、有望、有愛，其中最大的是愛”” And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”（林前I Cor 13:13）
